It's been 1.5 months since my last update! Since then, I've done a few things that have made the time fly by.
In September, we watched Of Monsters and Men, went to the Met, and ate some good food. Ashley and I celebrated our 7-year anniversary!
In early October, I supported Ashley running the Arches Trail Half Marathon! We explored Utah, drank swigs, saw amazing views, and played lots of board games with the people we love.

NGL, it was a pretty great few weeks. Despite that, the past week or two have been somewhat tumultuous. I crashed out, getting the ever-lasting fatigue of living in NYC.
It happens every so often. I tend to fixate on places and always gear towards escapism. I escaped Irvine, and I escaped the Bay. Here in Manhattan, I don't have a strong community, and I don't go out to nature as much as I'd like. I let that frustration bottle up, and there I was - angry and wanting to get out.
Since then, I've chilled out with a good amount of talking and reflecting. I still think in general, NYC is not where I'm destined to be, but I've come to realize that I still have to enjoy and experience it for what it is. I need to take a fair shot at finding a community and trying new things. I'm giving this place another year or two; I'm hoping to spend it with intention and an open mind.
Nature (and a car) can wait just a little longer. See ya soon!
